Verizon Campus Placement Papers at IFET Engineering college Chennai




Dear Friends!

This is Thrinadh Kishore from I.F.E.T. College of Engineering, Villupuram. I wrote the test at Chennai and still waiting for results.

Test Pattern:
Verbal – 20 questions (15 min.)

Analytical – 25 questions (30 min.)

Attention to detail – 20 questions (20 min.)

C++ and Data Structures – 10 questions (15 min.) not sure

VERBAL:

1 – 10 Fill in the blanks with articles like the, a, an etc.

11 – 15 Questions from given passage

16 – 20 Questions from given passage

(i.e.) two passages will be given.

ANALYTICAL:

1. Problem on Venn Diagram – from this 5 questions
2. Two statements will be given you have to check whether the statement is sufficient to find solution for the questions.
3. Cube Problem

64 cubes are arranged into a large cube….. so 4X4. Not sure about other questions.

Note: This section has Sub question for the above questions totally 25.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL:

First section:

1. If all the three are alike
2. If FIRST and SECOND are alike
3. If FIRST and THIRD are alike
4. If all are different

And some questions of the below type will be asked;

Eg. 7732.10244 7732.10255 7732.10244

FIRST and THIRD are alike so answer is C

Second Section:

All the four options contains one simple arithmetic expression

A. 124*34+1.24/8= some number

But they will give one statement for each questions if ‘*’ is ‘-‘, ‘/’ is ‘+’ etc.

You have to solve according to the statement. And check which expression is TRUE

5 questions of this type.

Next Section:

One Instruction will be given for selection procedure.

And the question in the form of statement will be given you .

For Eg.

For selection of Navy Officer age limit is 35 – 40 yrs. Etc.

1. Mr. X is 33 yrs old.

a. selected b. rejected c. refer to chief d. data not suffient.

I am not sure about my question

Last Section:

In a shopping mall gifts will be given for purchase above Rs.500. A pen will be given for all who purchased above Rs. 500; a pencil box will be given for purchase made above Rs.500 greater by Rs.300, a wallet and belt will be given for purchase above Rs.2000.

And statement will be given who have to choose which gift does the person gets.

Eg. Mr. X brought a book for Rs.650 and a Shirt for Rs. 1025 and a pair of shoes for Rs. 1750.

a. No gift b. Pen c. Pen, Pencil Box d. pen, pencil box , wallet and belt

Answer is D.

C/C++ AND DATA STRUCTURES

All questions are predicting the output….. or error…… or find the correct syntax

LISTEN STUDENTS THE ENTIRE QUESTION ARE JUST INDICATIVE AND NOT EXACT TO THE ONE WHICH I GETBECAUSE I DO NOT REMEMBER THE QUESTION.

BUT I’M SURE YOU WILL GET ONLY IN THIS PATTERN
